Virtual Design Consultation

A House in the Country

by: Allison Hayes, designer

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting with a couple building a custom home in Wake Forest, North Carolina. They were looking for a classic style with modern charm. The couple had driven around the area and found a home with our brick that they both loved.

The couple came to our Brick Design Center to gain expert advice on how to achieve the look they fell in love with during their search. After reviewing the rotating samples in our brick garden, they chose TBC’s Portsmouth brick from the Village Collection. They were attracted to this brick because of its rich red color, ranging from terra cotta to charcoal. Portsmouth’s texture adds a great design aesthetic to the overall color scheme and helps achieve the look and style the couple is looking for. Below I have offered a summary of their selections and a sneak peek of their home exterior plan. If you're ready to start exploring brick options for your next project, visit Triangle Brick Company's View Brick Locally tool online. Click here to explore!
